Hookers Fishing Lake Pattaya holds 40 different species of fish and 10 different carp species making it the most varied fishing park in Pattaya. Being three to four times bigger than other local fishing parks also brings several benefits: it allows us to stock truly big specimens over 200kg/475lb that require space and depth to exist and grow.
Smaller venues can only sustain fish up to a certain size. It also gives the fish a healthy, high-DO environment to develop so that when you hook one, you’ll be in for an energy sapping fight where fish can run for over 140m. Simply put, our fish are the biggest and healthiest that you will find anywhere in Pattaya and our fish care and husbandry is unmatched.
Even if you’ve fished in Thailand for many years, it’s worth taking the time to learn the Thai names of the species that you will encounter. You’ll see against each species that we’ve included an English transliteration of the Thai name: pronounce the name as you see it written and you shouldn’t go far wrong in letting your girlfriend or wife know what you caught!
