  1. All tackle, bait and equipment brought in from outside must be declared, checked and approved by us prior to fishing. All predator rigs must employ a minimum of 80lb BS and/or 0.80mm diameter fluorocarbon or similar. Non-predator hooklinks must employ a minimum 60lb BS and/or 0.35mm diameter braid or similar material. Please also ensure your swivels and hooks are rated appropriately. Reels must have a minimum drag of 20lb/9kg and loaded with minimum 170m of 60lb BS and/or 0.35mm braid. Remember that diameters of braid and mono are different – if you are using mono then the breaking strain, not the diameter, should be used as a guide. Rods must have a minimum test curve of 4lb or line class appropriate to the breaking strain of your line. If you are in any doubt, please ask. Anyone found substituting rigs or baits without our knowledge or permission will be asked to leave immediately with no refund and any injuries to our fish or staff caused by using inappropriate tackle will incur a financial penalty.
  2. No treble hooks or multi hook rigs under any circumstances. All hooks must be barbless or have had the barbs crushed.
  3. No swimming or wading. Customers should only enter the water for the purpose of landing a fish and/or taking photos. This is always at the customer’s risk and Hookers accepts no liability whatsoever.
  4. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  5. Anyone caught attempting to steal or remove fish, or retain them will be prosecuted.

  1. No playing of music (headphones only) and customers are kindly asked not to shout or cause annoyance to other anglers. All fishery staff should be treated with the same courtesy and respect that you would expect to receive yourself.
  2. Rods are not to be left unattended at any time or for any reason, even if in a neighbouring swim. All rods must be reeled in and placed in their rodpods with baits removed from rigs.
  3. Fishing is only allowed from the designated swim areas. If in any doubt please ask one of our guides.
  4. For fish that can be landed in landing nets, unhooking mats must be used at all times and must have water poured on them before fish are landed. All pictures must be taken kneeling and fish must not be raised above chest height. Please follow the advice of our guides. They will have the final say on how a fish should be landed, photographed and released.
  5. Some of our fish can cause serious injury if not handled correctly. Please use the whistle to alert one of our guides should you hook into ANY fish. Baitrunners must be engaged at all times with drags set and not locked up. Hookers accepts no liability whatsoever for any injuries that may be caused while fishing or visiting the fishery in any way.
  1. Any rods, reels or equipment that are broken or lost due to misuse/abuse will be charged accordingly. Reels: THB 6,000, Rods: THB 4,000, Bite Alarms: THB 2,000, Rod Pods: THB 3,000.
  2. Hookers may refuse access to the fishery by any person for whatever reason and may also require any person to leave the fishery for whatever reason. Failure to adhere to this will be considered trespassing and action taken accordingly.
  3. Hookers accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any possessions. All visitors and anglers undertake activities at the fishery at their own risk and must provide a valid passport before fishing.
  4. No food or drink to brought in from outside unless with prior permission of Hookers staff.
  5. All anglers will be required to provide a photo ID (Thai Driving Licence or Passport) in order to fish. If for any reason you are unable to do so, then we will ask you to provide a deposit equal to the fishing package you have chosen in addition to the package cost. In the event of any of the rules above being broken, Hookers reserves the right to deduct appropriate charges from the deposit.
